In Presentable Liberty, you find yourself alone in a cell, cut off from the outside world. The only form of communication you have is through a series of letters that are pushed under your door. These letters, written by various characters including Salvador, Charlotte, Dr. Money, and Mr. Smiley, not only provide backstory and updates on the events outside the jail but also evoke a range of emotions that will make you question your own existence.

Throughout the game, you will develop a bond with three of the characters, but unfortunately, one of them will meet a tragic fate. This sense of helplessness and the inability to take action adds to the overall atmosphere of the game. Movement is limited, as you are mostly confined to your prison cell, intensifying the feeling of being trapped without any hope of escape.

While Presentable Liberty lacks traditional gameplay mechanics, it introduces a unique twist by incorporating a GameBoy-like console that allows you to play mini-games between letters. These games serve as a way to pass the time but do not impact the main story. Additionally, you can collect various items sent to you by the characters, such as party poppers, a table, a spider, posters, and a clock. However, these items serve as mere distractions and do not contribute significantly to the gameplay.

Presentable Liberty may not be a lengthy or mechanically complex game, but it offers a haunting and melancholic narrative experience. If you are interested in exploring a psychological horror game that deviates from the norm, this game is definitely worth a try.
